UPDATED: Yep, I got what my kiddos have...no!!!!!!

Hi all,
Last night I felt so wrung out and DH asked me what was wrong. I told him I thought I was just tired. This morning I've been dragging and then felt like I had a fever. Yep! My throat feels hot and I have a few lovely red blotches and a blister on it. STREP THROAT! So I called and asked if the doctor could just call in a perscription for me since he had just seen all my boys on Monday and I know the symptoms really well. He's swamped today, so I finally just said "Can I come in and you can swab me" to the nurse. So I go in 1/2 an hour.
In the middle of all this, with my temperature bouncing all over the place, I realized that we forgot to deliver commodities to the shut ins yesterday and we have to distribute the rest tomorrow. So I jump in the van with Chris and Josh, who are feeling better and no longer contagious, go and package up and load up the van with bags of food and deliver them. All the while, the boys are looking at me going "Mom, should you be driving" since I was having trouble even remembering where to go. We get home and I tell Josh and Chris that they are in charge on distributions at the community center tomorrow and if I come down, I will be the one wrapped up in a blanket sitting next to the heater.
I don't wanna be sick!!!

UPDATE: Yep, it official, it's strep throat.

I was almost in tears at the doctor's office and he told me to just call him next time. I told him I had tried, but he was with a patient. He appologized and will let his staff know that in cases where the family all had it and the patient asks if he can just call in a perscription, to tell him. He's such a nice guy that he is not even going to charge me for the office visit. Hubby is going to pick up my perscription on the way home from work. And to make matters worse, it's snowing and I really , really wanna play in it!!!!

Aww, that sounds like the pits. I hate to be sick, and i am comming down with a sore throat. Yuck. I hope you feel better fast!

Oh NO!!!! And GW comes home tonight!!! Sorry about passing that _computer virus_ onto you. Please tell GW I'm soooooo sorry!
