    Smile Amazing moments....

This morning I was thinking about all the amazing moments in my life. I thought it would be fun if we all shared one amazing moment in our lives that has made a huge impression on us.

    Here is mine:

When I was about 11 years old, I was on a backpacking and camping trip with my girl scout troop. It was late at night and we were camping out under the sky on a cliff high above the ocean. Everyone except for me was asleep (I can't sleep on hard surfaces and we were on lava rocks). The sky was crystal clear and the stars were reflecting in the ocean below me. There was a meteor shower going on and I was amazed at all the stars streaking through the sky. All of a sudden there was a huge fireball in the sky and it exploded into what seemed like thousands of tiny fairy lights!!! You could see it in the sky above and the reflection of it in the sea below. It was one of those truely magical moments that will live with me forever and I remember sitting there marveling at God's majesty!!!

Mine would be the births of my children. The sight of those beautiful children as they took their first breaths and opened their eyes for the first time are the most amazing events in my life. I once read a quote that Babies are proof that God thinks that the humanity should continue, it is so true, the sight of a baby let's you know how much God truly loves us.
Books are the treasured wealth of the world and the fit inheritance of generations and nations.” --Henry David Thoreau

Kathy, that is so sweet! I only got to hold one of my babies after they were born. Josh was placed on my chest and I remember just crying and telling him how much I loved him. He just looked straight into me heart!
