Gloom, despair and agony on me....
Ok I'm writing that title with tongue in cheek b/c I know this could be much worse....like long term illness or something BUT I think I have a legit. complaint here.
Dd#1 has had 3 (count em! THREE) ACL knee surgeries. All basketball related injuries. It seems like every year right around spring break for about 3 yrs. straight, she had knee surgery. WEeeeeeellllll, guess what? She was at the park on Sunday with her dog (a very energetic boxer), who was having a romp with a few other dogs. Abby (the boxer) runs toward dd and jumps and hits dd right above the right knee (this knee is dd's *good* knee---has only had 1 surgery on it!) and hyper-extends it to the point of almost making dd fall over forward. Ugh. Dd heard and felt it pop (never, ever a good sign in a knee injury) and it hurt really bad. She lives on the 3rd floor of her apt. building which has no elevator (naturually) so it's a long walk to take the dog out, get home, etc... . She has an appt. with her orthopedic surgeon tomorrow afternoon. I so hope that it's only hyperextended, strained, pulled not a torn ligament. Even miniscus or cartlidge dammage would be a blessing here. I really rue the thought of her having to go through another one of those painful surgeries (she's only 26). Prayers and good thingies would be greatly appreciated.

Sending prayers your and her way. Hope it something that will heal quickly and without surgery. Gotta wrap that child in a lot of bubble wrap or something before she drives her mom nuts.

Ouch!I've had knee prob's in the past and tho I never needed surgery I can understand it just takes one little thing to hurt like h*ll & put you out of commission for a while. Hope she's got something that will heal fast and give her no more problems.
Here's one for you too Lisa- as her Momma I know you worry.
