    Hmmm.... I went to snopes.com and checked out the urban ledgend part. http://www.snopes.com/photos/bugs/camelspider.asp


    Sounds like something may have been done to make these things look bigger, or just the way the picture was taken. Thanks Julia Kimber.

    I screamed when I saw this picture! Spiders freak me out to no end! I would be crying if I had to move to Georgia, near my parents...Iraq...I think I would most definately pass out!

    If you look close at the picture, you can see that it is two of them. It looks like they took one and put the end of one and the head of the other and merged it to one.

    Ok Those things I thought were scorpions are actually sun spiders. At least I know now what they are. I am very glad they are not as big as the camel spiders look in this picture.
