You think you have big spiders.....
I won't be fussing anymore about our big old wolf spiders and their 3 to 4 inch leg span. I sure would not want to meet this mean fellow in a dark place.
This is a picture from IRAQ. This is what they call a camel spider.
Look at the size of these spiders; they run around in the desert at
about 10MPH. They are not poisonous, but their bite hurts, causes
shock, and can get infected.

OMGoodness! Yet another reason I could never be in the military and serve there!!!! I abhor spiders and snakes!!!! They'd have to wrap me up in a nice white jacket with lots of pretty buckles and send me home if any of those things came anywhere near me!!!!

Dh didn't mention those from his trip. I'll ask him when he gets home if these are real.

That is what nightmares are made of. Just one more reason why I think I'll stay here. Our spiders fit nicely under a shoe when you squish them.Originally posted by simplemom

OK I have been informed that the vinegaroons I thought were spiders were actually baby SCORPIONS. EEWWWWW!!! I am not sure what's worse. Spiders or scorpions.
