DVD &/or CD Repair.....????
Question....
I had read here?? somewhere?? that you could use Brasso to repair/buff scratches out of DVDs or CDs....
Anyone have any info on this practice??
Leaving 17 DVDs in a room with a 7 & 10 year old is just dumb....
....lesson well learned.....
Someone must know what I could do to protect/restore this small fortune....I can't stand the thought that these are just all ruined....

Deb, I don't know about Brasso, but Brenda posted a thread and it mentions using peanut butter and coffee filters. Now I'm no expert, but I would assume that you use plain PB instead of the one with peanuts unless you want to add more scratches before you buff them out

You can pick up special repair kits for CD's and DVD's that work great! They can be found usually at Kmart, Walmart or any place that sells computers and storage.
It's really easy to use and works every time. I cleaned a CD that was brought in by a mom who's little girl put peanut butter on it!
