Not spending as much time as I could with my grandparents and learning from all thier wisdom. They were the most amazing people I have ever known and I tend to be "old fashioned" like they were. I am more like them than my parents. My parents are more "modern" which means I have harder time relating to them.

Being in too much of a hurry to grow up when I was younger;
Not telling my father I loved him enough before he died;
Not investing in Microsoft.

Wish I hadn't wasted my time going to college.

I try not to regret much. I guess if i had to pick one, i would have stopped going out and partying all night for as long as i did a little sooner. I didn't really try hard enough in high school but if i had to do it all over again, it probably would have been the same anyway....lol

I regret the energy and time I invested in trying to help people that didn't want to be helped, when I could have used both to help those that truly wanted to be helped.

I don't really regret anything. There are some things that I might have done differently, but nothing that bothers me much.

I regret not having my mom in my life from the time I was 16...on.
She was an alcoholic and left my sisters and me about 1967. My dad raised us girls on his own, Lord only knows how he did it. I only remembered the times of unrest in our family.
My dh and daughters never knew of her and I very rarely talked to them about how times were while she was with us. I never saw her again and she died in 1996.
That was very hard for me because after all of those years I felt like she had left me all over again. You should not have to loose someone twice.Hello from Sunny Central Florida

I regret being angry so much of the time, while my kids were growing up. . .found out later that it was a medical issue, but at the time I just lashed out at them a lot.
I regret some personal relationships that turned out badly all around.
I regret not having health insurance when I was pregnant with dd, and having to pay over $100,000 in medical bills.
Lots of regrets --- but all learning experiences, and hopefully my kids have learned from my mistakes.

Although we all have regrets...it's important to remember that those lessons are what make us who we are today... Mistakes are learning processes, unless we tend to make the same mistake over and over...then it's a pattern, and that's a whole other story.

I try not to have regrets either, but I guess two come to mind. I regret starting smoking when I was 14 and I regret not going to nursing school. I would have made a terrific nurse if I say so myself.

I never have regrets what's done is done and hopefully I learn my lesson. I always live moving forward not backwards and any decisions I make were with the best intentions and not malice. No one is perfect and we all make mistakes. Trust me I've made more than a few some twice lol.

I have two major regrets. First, that I didn't spend more time with my sister before she died. Second, that I didn't give DH a chance when we first met - he was interested in me but I blew him off. We met again 5 years later and fell deeply in love. I have massive regret that I threw away those potential 5 years in between. If there were one thing I could go back and change, it would be that.
