    Question Ever get a speeding ticket?

    Just curious. I was thinking today about how I have never had a speeding ticket.
    How about you? if so, how fast were ya going? *L*

    Well, I got stopped for speeding (51 in a 35 ), but he ended up letting me slide for that, and instead gave me a ticket for driving without insurance.

    Nope, not yet. I got stopped for various offenses two or three times when I was 16? 17? but they let me go (whew, lol)

    Only ticket I ever did get was for running a red light (caused an accident). I'd been on a trip, my train ended up VERY VERY late and I barely made it home in time to get to my night shift at work....was driving home at 11 or 12 p.m.....saw the light ahead of me, knew it was red and I needed to slow down. Next thing I knew I was wide awake, in the middle of the intersection with my car still spinning in circles, round and round. Yup, it walloped another pretty hard. No injuries. Whew. I paid that ticket without a complaint (no question that I was at fault).

    Yep, I've had two.

    The first one I got for passing an unmarked highway patrol car. I was on my way back to collage (3 hours away) and was in too big of a hurry.

    The second one I got was for going 45 in a 35. I got caught in a radar trap.

    Thankfully these happened several years ago and are now off of my driving record.

    Nope I haven't even gotten pulled over for anything.But dh had a real bad driving record.Thank goodness all his tickets are off hsi record

    I had a number of them-last one was in 1995-finally off my record, highest speed clocked was 98 in a 65 zone. I made it from the Jersey Shore to Myrtle Beach, SC in 8 hours that day. My wild and impetuous youth. Those days are over.

    No tickets here, did get stopped once for doing 50 in a 35, but since it was a new car and I was trying to slow down, the cop let me off with a warning.

    Yes a big 35 in a 30 girl cop so no flirt or cry. $80 and in to work late for the trouble.

    In 1989 I got ticketed for going 77 in a 55 mph zone. I was crying (for real! ) and the trooper was flirting with me. He told me that I would get to see him again if I took it to court to contest it. He was kinda cute, but I went ahead and mailed in the payment. I was guilty!

    Funny how driving a beige mini van makes a person drive slower. No more red sports cars for me!
