Remember these barrettes from the '80s?

These were so popular when I was in school. I didn't have many pairs, but there were girls in my class that had a pair to match every outfit.

OMG! Yes I remeber those. My grandma who has the worlds worst eye for color used to make these for me. You would not believe some of the color combos she came up with.

Pink and Orange come to mind. She would put beads on the bottom of the ribbons. Wow, they were ugly! But I still wore them everyday in the 3rd grade.

I had them to match every sweater and leg warmer set. When my family saw how expensive they were to by everyone learned to make them.

OMG I have ben looking for this pattern. I have a friend who wants smoe for her daughter. I use to make them all the time when I was younger. But haveing kids has given me memory loss. LOL
