Poor Joe....
I don't know if I mentioned it or not but Joe has been a working fool lately. 2 weeks ago this past Sunday night/Monday morning the local Golden Corral (the main competition for Ryan's in this area) burnt down (the cook left the grill on and the Manager missed it when he checked behind him
)
Well, needless to say Joe and them have been swamped (at least they were the first week afterwards. Joe even hired about 10 former GC workers even though they will probably leave once there new store is re-built.
Anyways he had a sales meeting that he had to go to in VA. When the meeting started they were talking about the net sales per weeks that the stores were doing. Joe's Regional VP said: "For those of you who have low sales, just do like Joe and burn down your competition" Joe said everyone just looked at him with their mouths about to fall to the floor and then they started laughing. For the rest of meeting Monday Joe said about 20 of the 40 or so people that were there (especially the smokers) kept coming up to him and asking if he had any matches or a lighter on him.

Poor Joe! Glad to know that he is doing well at the new place though. I'd keep an eye on those "former GC" employees though - no matches, lighters, etc. right. LOL
