need a gift idea.
I have a frien in the hospital for surgery I will be going to see tomorrow. I need some neat but very inexpensive gift ideas.

Depending on the kind of surgery they had if they can concentrate I'd get them a puzzle book and a neat machanical pencil. That will help them pass the time while they recover.

I agree. Maybe throw in a couple of magazines you know they would like as well.
