How did you hear about frugal village? I was actually looking for information on the Tightwad Gazette to see if the author had written anything since the final book.

What interests you here? The sense of a common bond with others who actually realize that saving money can be fun. I am always looking for new tips and ideas!

What will you contribute? I hope to contribute ideas and tips.

Do you know any other members here? No, I don't... yet!

How many kids? Ages? I have two children; a son who is 19 and a daughter who is 12. I also have three stepdaughters ages 18, 14, 11.

Tell us about yourself. I am pretty introverted... I live in southern Minnesota about 150 miles away from where I grew up and where most of my family still lives. I am a stay at home mom with children that are almost too old to need a stay at home mom... While I would love to get out more and meet new people... but, well, I am an introvert, so that is definitely easier said than done in my case.

Do you own any pets? Yes, two cats; Chumlee and Cheez-it

Occupation? I am lucky enough to be a stay at home mom.

Married or single? Married to the love of my life!

Interests and hobbies? I love to read, mostly non-fiction. I also scrapbook, write, crochet, anything craft-related. Cruising the thrift shops is great fun for me, it's like a treasure hunt!

How many kids? Ages? Daughter is 20 and son is 18

Tell us about yourself. My name is Candy and I'm a 39 yr old who has been couponing since I was atleast 19. I do have a stockpile I am trying to use up because I am wanting to head to the organic side of things. I work as a test technician in a factory, live in an apartment so looking to try a container garden this year. I'm a pretty boring person... lol.

Do you own any pets? Have 1 male cat named Stoner, he is 7. 7 yr old Newfoundland dog named Abby and a 2 yr old Greater Swiss Mountain Dog named Zeus.

Occupation? Test Technician in a factory... I play with electricity.

Married or single? Living with my boyfriend.

Interests and hobbies? supporting my family, learning more about organic living and continue saving with coupons.

Was looking for living like no one esle and found this site.

Have 3 children 30, 29, 29 and 3 grand children 7, 6, 5

Work as an eng. asst. fulltime and just started as an IPC for doTERRA Essential Oils.

Have been married to a great husband for 18 years this April

In Feb. of this year was diagniosed with breast cancer so right now I am working on getting over this bump in the road and on to the next step that God has planned for me.

Was debt free a few years ago, but out of work for 3 years and many other bumps to work over will be starting all over again.

Was a member of Living Like No One esle for many years, until something went wrong and someone put a bug in the site. So here I am ready to start my new life again.

Just wanted to let you know that last October I was diagnosed with Breast Cancer and doing much better now. Things look to be good. Message me if I can help you with anything.

What interests you here? Been listening to DR for years and like to loosely follow his ideas.

Tell us about yourself.Just got married to a wonderful woman. Both in our mid-30's, established career-wise and neither have been married or have kids. We are debt free other than our house which is one big thing I was looking for in a mate.

Do you own any pets?Yes, we both had labs going into the relationship. Chocolate lab = Smokey; White English lab = Roxie

Occupation? I do building automation installs (universities, hospitals, office buildings, etc) for a worldwide company. She is a realtor.

Married or single?Newly married.

Interests and hobbies?I am a huge sports nut, offroading, computers, yard work, etc.

Which section would be best to get advice on question #1 on my post? I am very familiar with message boards (especially vBulletin) so I have been using the Search function extensively on here but haven't found a thread that mimics my question.

What interests you here? Everything. Very interested in cooking and saving money.

How many kids? Ages? 6. 4 sons. 33, 32, 27, 25. 2 girls. 12 and 10.

Tell us about yourself. Been married for almost 29 years. Been lucky enough to be a stay at home mom. Home schooled for 9 of those years and had a blast. Love being with my kids and grandkids.

Do you own any pets?Yes, we have 2 dogs. Dude is a Boxer/Mastiff mix and Casper is a Scottish/Poodle mix.
