Hi, my name is delphina, can't remember from where but I followed a link here....and what can I say "Here I am"

Let's see, I'm 56, married to ole man, (who's 53) for, hold on had to think there a minute, for 32 years. Have 2 married children, 5 grandkids...and 3 cats.

What interests me here? Everything ( I been roaming the rooms, enjoying all I am reading

I have always aimed our goals toward a more simple life, and since hubby wants to retire in 2006, how could life be more enjoyable and achiveable then learning all you can from "friends"

I love doing crafts, writing letters, shopping clearence sales, and dollar stores. Great joy I get is seeing how much I can get for less

Well that's it, I am basically a very shy person too

How did you hear about frugal village? I ran a search on budget living on Google and here I am.

What interests you here? Mainly finding a community of people that have similar issues to mine, and have an interest in saving money.

Do you know any other members here? Nope. Not yet.

How many kids? Ages? None.

Tell us about yourself. Let's see I'm twenty-eight and just graduated from college with my bachelor's degree. Currently I'm renting an apartment but would like to buy a house in the next four or five years I'd say.

Do you own any pets? Two cats that are my "children".

SAHM or Working mom? Well I'm not a Mom but I work outside the home, when the time comes I would like to stay at home though.

Married or single? Single gotta find the right guy first.

Interests and hobbies? Reading, during the summer swimming, beginning in January working out at the gym hopefully.

How many kids? Ages? One 19 yr. old daughter and an 11 month old grandson

Tell us about yourself. We are in the process of looking for a house to buy, it's exciting but overwhelming to say the least! It will be the first home we've ever bought and I'm having fun thinking about how we'll decorate and things like that.

Do you own any pets? one black and white cat named Luto

SAHM or Working mom? I work full time as an office manager in a shelter for victims of domestic violence.

Interests here? Looking to jump start my lagging enthusiasm for frugality, as well as actively combine frugality with graciousness a la "Frugal Luxuries".

Know other members? Blueknitter, and a few others from other boards.

How many kids? Ages? 2 Monkey Boys, ages 10 yo and 7yo. Active in Scouts and all sorts of TAG programming.

Tell us about yourself? 38yo, mom. Volunteer for Cub Scouts.. and soon to be Boy Scouts when DS1 "crosses over" next Spring. Politically active. Active in community.

Do you have any pets? Yes!!! My Girls...Alice, a 3yo AKC Champion Field stock black labrador retriever(great grandpa was a Natl Grand Champion and Best of Breed) and Figgy Pudding, a 6mo AKC picture perfect sable chocolate labrador retriever bought from a newspaper ad.

SAHM or Working mom? RN. Work part time at boarding school and summer music consevatory.

Married or single? Married 12.5yrs. Dh is an engineer in research lab for multinational corp.

Interests or hobbies:All the above aside, restoring/renovating my century house paying cash and doing labor ourselves. Museum, art, history. Antique needlework repros on miniscule linens w/ hand dyed threads. Thrift stores. Vintage clothes/jewelry. Books of all sorts. Yoga. Pilates...when I think about it. Hiking/camping/canoing. Long walks with my dogs in a local Nat'l Park.Tea with friends. Baking/cooking from scratch. Reading to/snuggling with my boys.
