How did you hear about frugal village? Did a search for frugal forums. j I missed my old one and needed to find one that would motivate me to be frugal again.

What interests you here? The people are full of advice and are very supportive.

Tell us about yourself.
I am a stay-home mama for a year now. I used to work third's and I just couldn't take it. I tried working during the daytime but with so many doc appts from well-care checks for the kids to my own medical probs, I was taking so many days off they were not liking it.

Do you own any pets?
I have two kitties 6 and 7 and a german shepherd 2

I like to read and visit message boards. I can also often be found volunteering in my kids preschool and headstart classrooms.

How many kids? Ages? We have 3 children. DS#1 is 22, DD is 19, and DS#2 is 9. He is actually my nephew whom I have custody of for almost 5 years.

Tell us about yourself. I am a SAHM and caregiver to my DD who is Spina Bifida. We live a very frugal lifestyle, always have. We grow our own veggies, raise a beef and pig every year to can and freeze, also eat a lot of wild game and gather what the earth has to offer for free such as blackberries, wild strawberries, ramps (wild onions...very strong), poke salat, ginseng, catnip, sassafrass, rhubarb, etc, etc, etc. We raise chickens for eating and eggs. We plow the garden the old fashion way...with a mule and hand plow. Actually we would fair well with the Amish...lol.

Do you own any pets? 5 dogs, 4 horses and 1 mule as well as the farm animals.

SAHM or Working mom? SAHM who has 18 hour work days caring for home, family, animals, garden and land. Love every minute of it.

Married or single? Married

Interests and hobbies? Church, Cooking, canning, and when I have the time: riding horses, camping, some sewing, various crafts, reading, the computer. I also enjoy helping others with whatever thier need may be if I can.

- I found it by searching online for frugal information resources & saw it as a posting on yahoo groups as well.

What interests you here?
- There are SO many things that interest me here... the crafts, hobbies, kid recipes, ways to organize, daily ideas, and of course the forums.

- Not yet!

- 1 and he's 11 y/o

- I'm relatively new to my area and just want to meet new people, and with little time/money to go out - this is my best way to "meet" people!

- Yep - a big ol' golden retriever - just had his 1st bday in January!

- Some of each actually. Just depends on the day!
Only have a part time job, and i take a class here & there - and am seeking another part time job (but those seem really scarce!).
