What interests you here? I like the support system - I am new to budgeting and shopping frugal, I've never done it really hard core before and I think this group can really keep me on track!

Do you know any other members here? No

How many kids? 2 girls Ages? 4 & almost 8

Tell us about yourself. I am a SAHM, my husband is active duty Navy. He's stationed in Groton, CT and I am in Tacoma, WA with my girls (my family is here as well). My daughter's and I are staying with my mother until my husband comes back next year.

Do you own any pets? 1 dog & 1 cat

What interests you here? -- just reading what everyone has to say. Time will tell ...

Do you know any other members here? -- Nope.

How many kids? Ages? -- DS#1 is 38; DS#2 is 31

Tell us about yourself. -- Interested in frugality and simple living for a long time. Read several other sites pertaining to same. Not working, but not retired yet, either. DH will retire in a year or so. Love traveling in our motorhome, reading, MAJOR LEAGUE BASEBALL (I'm an addict), finding ways to "beat the system" (legally, of course!), love learning. Have four adorable and wonderful grandchildren.

Do you own any pets? -- Bonkey, cat.

SAHM or Working mom? -- Neither - just me and DH at home now. I'm not working now, tho.

Married or single? -- Definitely married, 39 years and counting.

Interests and hobbies? -- DH! Otherwise, as above. Don't have any hobbies per se. I'm not crafty, and don't knit or crochet or scrapbook or any of those kinds of things. I cook, but don't particularly enjoy it. I keep the house clean, but don't particularly enjoy it. Loved our "hippie" ("back to the land") years, but don't want to live that way anymore, tho that's where our interest in frugality/simple living started.

How did you hear about frugal village?
I found this site through recipegoldmine.

What interests you here?
I enjoy frugality - I believe it is a skill and an ethic.

Do you know any other members here?
No.

How many kids? Ages?
I have four wonderful children, son 16, dau 14, son 13, dau 10.

Do you own any pets?
We have Shasta (my baby!) a 2 year old Blue Heeler, and a five year old Cocatiel, Jay.

SAHM or Working mom?
I am a bookkeeper for a non-profit recycling/processor, also do books for Boy Scouts, sell canned goods at the local fall fair, and pick up other work as I available (in my quest for debt elimination!). I include my children where I can, and try to keep the impact upon my family positive.

Married or single?
Hmm . . . divorced with a wonderful sweetheart of 1 1/5 years.

Interests and hobbies?
I don't have much time at this point in my life for the hobbies I used to enjoy. My interest is raising ethical children, getting out of debt and setting aside money for the kids' college years and my retirement. My current hobbies are hiking with Shasta and reading (usually fall asleep doing so!)
If I had the time, I would sew, cross-stitch, garden (a challenge in northern Canada!), do genealogy, have horses and more dogs, and volunteer.

Tell us about yourself. Well, I'm married to Jim a retired navy commander. We are living in NC but I'm really a New England girl by birth and inclination. I love cooking, writing, reading, singing in community chorus, some crafting although I'm looking for something more unique to do than the usual thing.
