Hello
Hi all,
I have been reading the post's for a couple of months and I have been to shy to post anything (how silly).
Here's my story, Quit my job (nurse) in November, major burnout, have decided to try an at home business, vegetables and plants, where we live we can grow something year around.
I have been interested in all things frugal for awhile. After reading all of the post's here I can see where having someone to talk to can make this alot easier (and fun).
Take care all, huz

So glad you took the plunge and posted, Welcome!

Your new job sounds a lot more relaxing & I'm looking forward to hearing more about it & you too.
No going back to lurking once you posted, I think that's a rule, lol.~*Darlene*~

Morning all,
Thank you all for the warm welcome, you all have made me feel very welcome and that I can be a part of this wonderful place. I had a bad experience at another site and it made me a little (ok alot) nervous to start. That's over and done with so on to better things.
We live on 15 acres close to the Victoria area. I had 20-25 tomato plants until a few days ago when we had our first freeze. Just getting started with the veggies, January we will start full swing and see what happens. Thanks again.
Take care, huz

Hi Huz and welcome to FV.
Sounds like my kind of job to be at home growing vegies. Good luck with it and your new direction. If there is anything we can help you with in the Gardening thread just post your qestion and we'll help out if we can.

to the Village! I promise we are a friendly bunch here.
You are in good company with lots of gardeners on this site. I pray that your can make a go of your home business and not have to return to nursing if that is what you want to do.
