    Default Andy Griffith show reunion?

Anyone watch it tonight? I really loved to watch that show (well the re-runs) as a kid. I love the way "Andy Taylor" used to deal with "Opie". Wish I could be that quick on my feet. lol

Actually that s the third time we saw that one - I love Andy griffith - he is one heck of a genuine person - he makes religion seem like it IS all that (cuz he is so "Christian" to the letter of the word) We have the DVD collection of the whole series and I like the fact that my kids love to watch them - the days when TV had a message - a statement about how to do un to others... I am really glad that someone else (mel) is as sappy as me

Same here. 12 year old daughter loves it to death and will watch the same episode over and over. She also loves Leave it to Beaver.

I have seen the reunion show and it is somewhat sad to see how much they have aged, especially Andy and Barney. You just want to remember them as they were, happy and living in Mayberry.

I agree. I have seen it too. It really bothers me to see how they have aged so much. I guess that happens to all of us. We have Andy and then Leave It To Beaver on one after another for an hour on TV Land at night. I try to watch them as much as I can. Really love those shows.

Our phone company just bought out our cable company. Rumer has it that we will be getting a new channel line up and I hope we will continue to get TV Land.

My ID is Panndy1 and that shows on my posts. But my signature is Peggy. I did see that another Peggy just joined but that isn't me.

We missed it last night, but have seen it before. We have many of the episodes on video and DVD and we watch them over and over again. It is such a great and clean show!

I like the oldies way better than most of the stuff on tv today. "The Andy Griffith Show" is one of my familie's favorites. I would love it if TVLand would start showing"'Little House on the Prairie." I wish Hollywood would get a clue and start producing more family oriented shows. I really think they would do well.
