Around the same age as you, younger than you or older than you?

I have noticed that most of my close and dear friends are several years if not close to ten years older than I am. I just seem to get along better with people older, and have more in common with them.

Who's next?

My friends are a mix of older and younger. Same with DH.

Now that I am an adult, I am evening out. As a kid/teen, I always got along better with people who were older. I still enjoy talking to people who are older, but I have learned to enjoy some of the people the same age (within a few years) as me. Now that my generation is all grown up (most of 'em anyway ) and not so silly, I can relate to them better.

I have often thought that my tendency to like older conversation was due in part to having parents who were older when I came around.

I have both....some quite a bit older and some about my own age.....a few who are younger.

I have friends in all age ranges! I just love people in general from the teeniest of babies to the oldest of the wonderfully wise folks.

My best friend is only 4 months younger than me.

My other friends are mostly 5-10 years older than me. I have a couple friends that are in their 20's (I'm 43)

I guess I have never really thought about it, but I would say a mix of older and younger. I just love everybody!

a mix i guess. I get along better i think with older ppl. But my closest friend is very close in age.

My best friend is just 4 days younger then me but in general I have friends older, my age and younger.... I have friends and get along with people of all ages.....

I have a mixuture of friends, most are older than me and some are younger than I am. I consider everyone my friend unless theere's a reason why someone isn't my friend, However, I don't really have any best friends and I'm okay with that.

I have 2 friends from highschool that are the same age as me, and my best friend is 3 years younger.

I agree Meloday, my parents were 40 when I was born, so I've always been around older people growing up.

I have 3 close friends that are my age and a few friends that are 8 or more years older than me. My online friends range from 4 years younger to ?????!!

I , honest to goodness, do not have one friend. I still know some one from grade school but we are not really friends any more - we just touch base about once every other year. I wasn't even going to read this thread cuz I feel like such a freak, but I guess thats just the way my life is.
