Friends
I have a friend who lives across the street from me. She is 76 years old & has been there for me whenever I needed a friend. She considers me one of her granddaughters & she reminds me so much of my late grandmother that I have adopted her too

The other day we were talking about clothes & I had ordered a couple but couldn't find what I was looking for online {I don't have transportation & being disabled & going to a store is very difficult at times} Well today I heard someone knocking on my door & when I opened it there were 2 young guys & they told me they were her great grand nephews & they were told to bring me these 3 bags of clothes. I was
I wasn't expecting her to buy me 2 real nice warm outfits & a beautiful winter coat. She left the tags on incase anything didn't fit or I didn't like it {she has great taste}. I looked at the price tag on the coat & I was
at the deal she got. The coat was originally $130.00 down to $69.99 & she got the coat for $29.97 the sweater she got me was $34.00 & she got it for $14.99, the pants were $28.00 she got them for $12.99. The other outfit has to go back because there were a couple things wrong with it but it went from $40.00 to $14.99. She called me tonight from her sons house & I THANKED her so much for her kindness & when I offered to pay her for these she said I didn't have to. So I'm thinking of something special I can do for her. She is a very giving person always putting others first no matter what is going on. Every day/night we chat on the phone & we study together & we talk about everythig from family to world events together. I feel so blessed to have someone like her in my life. I posted awhile back that I had to go to the ER & she was the one who stayed with me the whole time & made sure I got into the house safely & she took me in for 31/2 days when a drunk hit the pole behind us & tore all the wires off my apt. One of her sons & I both suffer from a common health problem & I can always talk to her about it because I know she understands. I truly hope to have many more wonderful years with this loving grandmother in my life

You are very blessed to have such a wonderful friend. Maybe you could make a donation to her favourite charity or to the tsunami relief effort in her name as a way to say thank you.
