Power back on
We were hit with a bad ice storm wednesday night into Thursday morning and our power was out for more than 24 hours. It went out at 12 noon Thursday and finally came back on friday around 4pm.
Luckily we have a kerosene heater for heat but it was still cold in here. Our house is 3 floors so one heater does not heat the whole thing up. We did close the bedroom doors to try to keep the heat down.
I don't know how long the power will stay on as we are getting more freezing rain and the lights were flickering again this morning.
There are still thousands of people without power.
I hate winter time and will be so glad when it's over

No fun Debbie, glad you have the heater. Hope those lights stay on and the ice storm doesn't happen.
I'm with you on wishing the winter away...come on spring!~*Darlene*~

We were lucky in the last ice storm here a few weeks ago, our electricity stayed on, but sometimes I think it would be nice to live with out electricity!!! Mind you, we are not prepared for such a lifestyle, and I am knocking on wood that mine stays on for now.............

Sorry you lost power. Hoping it stays on. I'm not a fan of winter either.
