Hello everyone!
I'm new here also, been poking around for a few days and wanted to say hi.

I was a graduate student until about two months ago, when I figured out that if I stayed in school any longer we would just keep racking up more debt! Right now I'm trying the SAHM route.
My DD just turned 5 and we are expecting a baby boy in April. My DH and I have been married since 05/1999. I look forward to meeting and learning from you all!

My BA was in English. I got my MA in June (also English lit) and went into a PhD program in Sept. I've been in school since I was 4 years old and also got into more debt getting my MA than I ever did getting my BA! I love going to school but the $$ aspect makes the idea of 5-7 more years of school a little scary.
We're adjusting to not thinking of student loans as "extra income" and really trying to live on DH's income so I can stay home with these little ones (it was child care tuition that really got us into debt!)
I was on Frugal Moms ages ago as "marcelory" but lurked more than I posted
. I can't wait to get my frugal act together again.

Welcome to the village, and congrats on the new addition. There are a lot of pregnant ladies that are due here over the next few months, myself included.
I'm sure you will love it here. Just make your self at home and if you have any questions feel free to ask away
