Its my favorite dessert along with mud pie. I cannot have one bite becaue if I do, then I'm gone. So now when I crave it, I take out a carrot. Certainly doesn't taste like it, but at least it gets rid of the craving.

So Karen, do you plan on making one.

Oh yes, my Dad makes the best New York style cheesecake and he lives in Georgia, so I never get any, but I dream about it sometimes. I eat cheesecake about once every two years.

HELLO! Did I hear cheesecake and Georgia used together in the same sentence? LOL, where exactly in Georgia does your dad live Michele? Just kidding, I make a pretty good cheesecake myself, but I usually only make them around the holidays cause they are just to tempting to have around all the time.

Well, the rest of you can go to Georgia, I think Karen is closer to me, so I'll go and swipe some of hers....

And to answer the question, yes, I do crave cheesecake occasionally. It's my favorite dessert, but DH hates it, so I never make it at home. I like both baked and the instant kind.... so whatever you're making Karen, I'll be happy to taste-test it for you...

My parents, brother, SIL, and Niece live in Dalton (North GA) they moved there three years ago, from Buffalo, NY, for my Dad's new job. My Grandparents, Aunt and cousins live in Chatsworth. Mmmm, cheesecake!

Check your PM's, Michele. Does your dad work in the carpet industry?

I have never met a person who can resist a yummy cheesecake My favorite is a homemade coconut cheesecake that I make. Last time I made it, I was outside, in the dark early morning, cracking open fresh coconut with a hammer. Oh dear, I had better leave this tempting thread now!!!

Yes, Michele, it's a small world, I grew up five miles from the Murray County (Chatsworth) line, near Ft. Mountain. My dad worked in Dalton for years.
