My hubby use to, but the last place we lived before here had no mountians and was extremely flat so he sold his mountain bike and his road bike on e-bay and bought a brand new road bike that is probably worth more than my old car was....lol
Now that we are back in the mountains he is thinking of buying a cheap mountain bike (cheap and bike in the same sentence to him usually means around $900-$1400) with this coming bonus check since the next ones will be used for baby stuff and my car payment as well as rent once I am out of work.

I mountain biked once, I think Mike was trying to kill me that day!! He bought us new bikes about 7 years ago, took me out for my first ride in years, we ended up going up this HUGE mountain--I had to push my bike up. I wasn't having fun at all, finally found a way out of the woods that led to his uncles house, I knocked on the door, put my bike in the back of his truck and got a ride home. I did wave to Mike as we drove past him!!!
Now, my bike is on a stationary trainer in the garage.
Mike is a huge biker, road and mountain. We currently have 4 bikes in the garage, waiting for good riding weather. All his bikes are custom made $$$$.

I mountain bike, roller blade, snow board, just about anything in any season. I do need a new Mountain bike - mine is definately a little tired!! My brother had a really really nice Klein and he traded it for a stupid (In my opinion) road bike - he has become such a yuppie!! We have the nicest mountain trails here in Colorado - especialy on Mt Falcon (you look down on Denver) and in Rocky Mountain National park!! Where doyou like to ride and what is your bike like?? (ar, ar I rhymed...

Mike wants us to take a vacation to Colorado to go biking. I told him that's fine, but he can bike and I'll go to a spa for the day!!
He rides local trails in western MA and some in CT.

Joe's co. offers a GM trip to Colorado after you have been a GM for a year. As soon as he is eligiable for it he wants to take the Co. trip and go mountain biking. He either wants to go there or Moab Utah.Originally posted by kimmee

Moab is awesome and it is only 4 1/2 hours from Denver. I used to go all the time to bike, jeep, and raft. The drivers are nuts in Moab though - they don't share the road and I know three people who have been killed - being run off the mountain. I hope one day they put a little focus on this. You HAVE TO raft there though - it is so incredible!!! My kids LOVE it!! (They bike too)

I thought about that this morning. I had to get something out of his truck and it was in his glove compartment from where he had it out showing it to Mike when he was up here last month...lol
