Guess what I get to do tonight (UPDATE)

Ya'll know that I joined HAIN, after somebody, I think it was Chriss, I could be wrong though, posted their website on here. Well, tonight I get to go meet one of the families who had a preemie son, Jeremiah, and he just came home from the hospital!!!! We are taking mom and dad a bed, as they do not have one, and also a blanket that I made for Jeremiah, I am so excited and cannot wait until Matthew gets home from work!!!!!

Ok, so I got to thinking, if I had just had a baby, what would I want someone to bring me, if they were going to bring me anything. Besides the obvious diapers, formula, wipes, etc etc.

So, I went to my kitchen and bathroom and made a goodie bag for the new mom and dad!

Here is what I packed:

~Colgate 2n1 Toothpaste
~Suave Advanced Therapy Lotion (2)
~Soft n Dri Deodorant
~Old Spice High Endurance Deodorant (2)

~Glade Candle in jar
~Warm Vanilla Candle
~Quaker Instant Oatmeal Apples n Cinnamon (2)
~Nestle Hot Cocoa (2)
~Bugles
~Chex Mix

Well, we didn't make it last night, cause Matthew had to work late, but we went to Bowling Green first thing this morning and delivered the bed and the goodies. I added some stuff to it, a couple sets of sheets and pillowcases, etc etc.

Jeremiah is 3 lbs now, he is still on oxygen but his heart is doing good!!! He is eating almost 1 ounce a feeding now. He was absolutely gorgeous!!!! His eyes were open and he got to see us too.....!!!

Today was the Dad's first day back to work, so Matthew set the bed up for them and then made it!!! I just love him, he is sooooo sweet!!!!!

It felt so good to see Jeremiah and momma after praying for them for so long, and not being able to put a face with a name!!!

Grandma was there and she started crying cause she couldn't believe the people that God had brought into their lives during this trial with Jeremiah, which made me cry, then in turn, made momma cry. Matthew went outside, I think he didn't want to cry in front of that many women.......
