I feel I have the best solution for us (at the moment) I am home with my kids in the day (the one not in school) and during the summer. And then I work at night and DH takes care of things. But I also hate it because I do have to work at night and can't go to PTA meetings or see our son's hockey games. The kids that are in school I do not see much.

Are you doing this? How is it working, How long are you going to do it?


Yongest will be in school fall 2005 so I will be changing my hrs then, and thankfully I can change my hours. I will then change back to 2nd shift in the summer.

3rd shift is a NO WAY for me DH was doing that for a while and that really does not work for us.
