Like to read post, uncomfortable replying

I know that we are all shy and reserved at some time or another and I was just wondering about you folks that like to read on FV but are a bit uncomfortable replying. This is your chance to stand up and say, hey I love this site but I haven't quite gotten my nerve up to do much posting. You can post here and meet the other shy folks. I am shy if I meet people face to face but on here I have gotten pretty brave. Of course I've been on here for several years now. I had to work at convincing myself that I had something worthy to say though. I soon realized that we all have something to say and there is always someone who agrees with you. Once place I found right off is the Humor forum. I could always read someone's joke and then reply with just a smilie or a quick "that's a good one". Obviously now they can't get me to shut up. LOL

So come out and meet your other lurkers and readers. This is your thread.

Hello, ladies...I pop in now and then and really enjoy reading the forums. Lots of wisdom here. I tend to just lurk and soak it all up.
I don't know if I'm really shy, but I relate to what paelthom said about having something worth saying. I'm trying to get past that.
I do have a question....what are the graphics at the bottom of the messages? Like, I only have the purple flower. And how do I become a part of the penny challenge and such?

That's your award case. If you point your mouse to the various icons in members' award cases, a box will pop up that shows you what the icon stands for. Your purple flower is for permanent residency at FV.

To join any of the challenges (penny, change jar, gift closet, etc.) just post on that individual thread.

I'm a long time lurker too. I love everything I read here, I just tend to be shy and don't take the time to post! I'll try harder. Also, despite being fairly young

I'm pretty inept with most technology. Maybe my 3 year old can teach me?
