Thumbs up It's so nice having a 3rd driver in the family!

I'm just tired to the bone tonight so Jaysn volunteered to drive his brothers to their guitar lessons tonight. Their lessons are in the next town over so this saved me 1/2 an hour on the roads when my eyes are too tired to focus well. DH or Jaysn will pick them up later.

My oldest son just recently got his drivers licence, too. He hasn't been driving his siblings around yet, but it is kind of nice to know that he can run some errands for us if we need him to.

Oh yes, I love it. It fact we have 4 drivers in the house and has it ever reduce my stress on having to drive so much. My dd now has her learner's license so soon she'll be out driving herself too. Now we just need another car

I am looking forward to having another driver in the house in a few years. We have restrictions on new drivers here. We have a graduated license system. So even though DD will be old enough to get her learner's permit next year she won't be able to drive at night without a licensed driver with her for a couple of years after that.

Chriss, is the graduated license system state mandated or your own family rules?

    Good for you Debbie!
My 2 (18 &19)have been driving for a while now and I still worry about them on the road, especially in the bad weather. They have to learn to navigate in bad weather but it sure is tough on dear old Mom.

I agree Debbie. I also like when he drives me home from work.

    Debbie,
That is really nice that there's another driver. You've worked hard to get them to this stage. Enjoy it.

LOL, I remember how wonderful it was being able to send Shane or Jennifer up to the little store in the neighborhood to get milk, bread, sugar, or eggs when I would run short for the week. Nothing worse than having to stop while in the middle of preparing a meal and run to the store.
