Default What does your favorite coffee/tea mug look like?

I have a couple I like but this is my newest fav, lol. My sis gave it to me for my birthday. It's a Lang & Wise mug & the picture is from an original painting of Sherri Buck Baldwin who really can capture nature with her paint brush.

I got a really nice picture mug of Salt Lake City I love. I got it when I was sent by my daughter's headstart program to the National Head Start Conference there in December. Fabulous trip and all expenses paid!

Ladies, those sound like some great mugs. It's those little things that just make you smile.

Mine has Orangy-Red Poppies & Blue Corn flowers on a white background...it is shaped with a little flare-out at the rim.

I actually have 4 of these...they were made in Czechoslovakia.

I got them on sale years ago.

I like ALL my coffee cups! I had to pare it down during the Spring Fling though. I kept 6 in my cupboard. There's 10 in there now though, lol.

*The one I'm using now was aquired from the TH Cafe at the TA Truckstop in Council Bluffs IA.

*One has a Sunflower on it. It was a gift from my neice several years ago.

*One is my mil's from the Heritage Needlwork Guild

*One was my dad's, I'm guessing from a thrift store or flea market. It has pictures of an indian cheif and says, "Around this camp there is only one cheif ~ the rest are indians"

*One has a cartoon of a cat and says, "Another mug for my cat to drink out of when I'm not looking"

    *One says 01-01-00 Be There

*One has a snowman on it and is from the November swap

*One says Super Mom, Go Mom Go

*This green one must be from a truck stop too. It has ads all over it from the Eustis FL area. (My mother used to put her coffee cup in her purse when she went out to eat)

*The last one is from Shells, a seafood restraunt in Florida, Daytona Beach area probably.

One is a mug that has a garden setting. you pour you r hot drink in it and every where that has a dark green bush changes into a patch of flowers. (from my Grammie)

Three are kitty ones. (I hide these so they don't get broken)

And one is a bear one that i got at a thrift store.

I have a slightly larger than average coffee mug that is white stoneware with pretty blue flowers on it and for hot tea I have a dainty little bone china cup with a matching saucer with the prettiest dainty little blue roses. I love drinking my tea from the china cup, you just can't help feeling good with that lovely cup.

Your teacup sounds beautiful! I've always wanted a lovely one like that. Did you get yours at a thriftstore, or did you inherit it?

My brother got my favorite mug at the Salvation army for me for 20 cents. It has a chicken on it. That's really all I need for it to become my favorite.

I don't have a special cup....we have several ones that my dsis did with Dh's cattle brand on it, I have the cups that go with my dishes and then some Folgiers advertising cups...that's about it. I don't feel very special about my cups.....lol
