Question What's one non-frugal thing you won't give up?

I became curious after I started looking at my habits. I have a toddler and 2 pre-schoolers, so my table is almost never clean. I have begun purchasing plastic tablecloths in the party section at wal-mart that match my decor. They are about .86 cents each. I cut them to fit the table. About once a week, I change them. If we have company coming I change it. It has been sooooo much easier. I bought an oak table that was supposed to have a surface on it you could use any cleaner on it. Well, I've used 409 on it and Windex... Let's just say it hasn't turned out well for my table. It's only about 4 years old, and the company did not have a warranty longer than 1 year on it. It started at 2. So I have the tablecloths for two reasons, hide my ugly table and to make clean-up easier. When the kids get older and not quite as messy, I will get cloth ones and just wash once a week. As it is now, I don't think it would be very easy to get jelly and sauce and stuck on food out of a cloth one, it seems easier just to get the cheapies and throw away.

    Scrubbing Bubbles....and good quality perfume.

Although good quality perfume is actually more frugal in the long run, as it lasts so much longer.

I refuse to give up eating out altogether. We have cut down to once a week, and I don't want to cut this out. It gives me a break, and it's nice to get out-go somewhere with dh and dd, instead of being in the house again.
