    Default Another newbie here

    Hello all. I've just made my very first posts over in the common ground forum. I'm looking forward to spending more time here!

    I am a sahm to two wonderful daughters. My husband works on staff at our church so we don't make the big bucks but we do o.k He also subs for some of our local school districts. I tend to be tight with money anyway, but I figure trying to be frugal is the best way to help us get ahead.

    Right now our only debt is our house. We are big Dave Ramsey fans and have never had any credit cards or car payments and trust me - we're thankful for that! We are trying to work on our savings and we want to buy a newer model van with cash. We also pay for our own health insurance (an HSA) so we need a larger emergency fund than some. Those are some of our goals and sometimes they seem pretty tough and we just have to think about how blessed we truly are!

    Anyway, that's a little about me. Thanks for the welcome!
