Wink ok which one of you did it?

who stole my husband and replaced him with someone who actually wants to eat better? i took him to the store with me tonight because he wanted something different for food. he started looking at the labels on the canned goods in the pantry and saw all the sodium in the canned pasta. i don't eat it, but had been buying it for him to make on nights i work. it finally sunk in that a lot of conveince food that he wants, but i try not to buy, is not good for him. he actually compared different cereals, cheese, pretzels, etc to see which ones were healthier. i might even get him to eat some of my homemade chicken nuggets

well done! I hope this continues, he might start eating healthy food and you'll be able to cut down on processed food. It should be better for your budget too.

I refer to that as ALIEN ABDUCTION. I usually welcome my grouchy dh being replaced for sometimes weeks at a time! I say ENJOY It. He'll be back sooner than later but who knows...this could be a habit.

i'm hoping it will stick. he informed me yesterday that the doc wants him to check his blood pressure frequently as it's a bit high. he's been working out some as well.
could have kicked him for waiting 2 weeks since his doc appt to tell me about his blood pressure, but at least he's trying to improve his diet before the doc makes him.
