Can you help me find a thread?
I'm not good at doing searches and my pc is so slow so if anyone could locate this for me I would sooooo much appreciate it.
There was a thread a couple of weeks or so ago about doing your taxes online for free by some here. I was able to go in and do ds's taxes and he already got his refund but what I'm wondering is can you do it for free if you are itemizing and long it took to do it. I was going to re-read the thread and see if anyone did....
Thanks,

I'm not familiar with the thread, but if you to www.irs.gov and follow the link, you can do H&R Block online for free. I just did my ds and ddil's longform return. It was very thorough, but didn't take too long, maybe 30 minutes. The prep work is free, but there is a $19.95 fee for e filing both the state and fed. returns. HTH
