tea or coffee?
Let me first say that I'm a tea person. I LOVE tea. I drink a cup of tea every morning for breaksfast and have a couple of cups during the day.
Lately I've discovered the joy of coffee. I've always liked the smell of coffee and actually preferred the smell to the taste of it. But these last couple of weeks, instead of having a late morning cup of tea, I've had coffee instead. It really gives me a boost. Mind you I have VERY strong coffee - probably three/four times the strength of normal coffee, but I only have one cup.
If I make it in the coffee maker I put in six scoops for a two cup mix. If I have instant coffee I use 4 spoonsful for one cup.
Are you a tea or coffee person and how do you make your favourite brew?

Both!
I love iced tea in the summertime-- brewed, unsweetened.
I enjoy a hot cup of chamomile tea with honey before bed, especially if I'm having trouble getting to sleep.
I LOVE iced coffee, any time of year. Tim Horton's is my favorite-- it's very hard for me to resist their drive-thru window sometimes! I also make it at home frequently-- my recipe is in the achives here somewhere. Basically it's coffee ice cubes, skim milk, sugar, and a touch of chocolate syrup. I could live on that stuff!
I also like regular hot coffee sometimes.... brewed or instant, either one. It depends on my mood, really, as to how I take it-- black, with milk, or with sugar-- I like it all three ways.

Neither.
I've never liked tea or coffee. Love the smell of coffee brewing but once it's up to the lips...yuck. I have been trying some flavoured teas but haven't found one I like.
I love iced tea in the summer but the only hot drink I like is apple cider.

Another neither here also. I have never liked to drink coffee or tea. I do like the smell of coffee beans but not brewed coffee. When I lived on West Coast people thought I was odd for not drinking Starbucks LOL Little did they know I wouldn't have wasted my money anyway

I don't like either.
If I'm going to have a hot drink, I like hot chocolate or apple cider.

Coffee first thing in the morning...two cups only. Then tea in the afternoon, brewed in a pot (loose if I have it, bags if not). Sometimes I will have tea after supper but not always.
I love Tim Horton's iced cappucino's in the summer but they are a very special treat!

For me it really depends on my mood & pallate and what i may be eating.
I prefer coffee alone. Sometimes with breakfast, but usually alone.
But I love tea - just about any kind - any time. I prefer black or green tea - plain, nothing added (like sugar or milk).
Only when I'm ill do I drink black tea w/honey (for sore throat).
Outside of that - I use my french press for EVERYthing.
It tastes better, stronger (yes there's more cholesterol) - but since I only drink it once in a while - it justifies a french press - rather than a percolator that takes up more counter space.
Sue!

I don't know what a french press is. It it a coffee pot with a plunger thingo in it that separates the coffee from the grounds? If it is, I agree, they make wonderful coffee.
