I let the kids play outside since it is quite warm. We're all sick, but i figured that some outside activity wouldn't kill us. After all, it's 60 degrees out there.
So while the kids played, I checked my green house, brought some plastic pots to the potting table therin, tore down old vines (glories) that were still up along the fence, (i didn't toss em out, instead I laid them on the ground where I plan to plant more. I stepped all over them to hopefully crack some "volunteer" seeds out of the pods). It'll stay there till it's time for spring planting...or until i can bend over with out falling on my head, rofl. Then I picked up the plastic chairs that had blown all over the side yard. And i got out the Garden Claw and turned some soil where I plan to plant hostas and ferns. (i discovered the soild is still frozen solid at about four inches deep- now I know...and knowing is half the battle )
Now I am worn out and ready for a nap...now if only i could figure out how to wear out the kids to get them to nap too....

Sounds like a great day outside. I wish we had a warm spell. We had ice and school was cancelled.
You're making me want to get out gardening. C'mon spring!

Nope. they are the Energiser Bunnies minus the pink fur! LOL. Hopefully they will go to bed early.
I have been looking through gardening Catalogs making my wish lists up. I wanted to clear an area outside with the work I did today to see how much room I have for this wish list, lol.
Hopefully spring will be comming very soon, I am itching to get this dreary dead yard back into green!
