Question Do you have a "vent person"?

In my list of 101 ways to cope with stress, one is to have a "vent person". I have a couple of wonderful friends who I can just vent and who can vent back at me. They've been my lifelines at times.

I know many will say their dh/so but there are times when woman need woman to vent to.

Is there someone special you can just "vent" when you need too.

One of my closest friends (other than my hubby) is my vent buddy. I also have all of you that I vent to also! I'm very "vent" blessed!

Besides my dh, I vent to my best friend. I try not to vent much to dh, because to him it's not venting, it's nagging. lol

My dh would be my #1 vent person. My best friend Becky would be my #2 person. My cyber friend Heather would be my #3 person.

Unfortunately... I have no friends where I live.

The two that I did have... are living across the country.

So if I wanted to go out for coffee to complain... i'd be sitting alone...

    as usual.

I have my best friend Barbi to vent to/with, and my dear brother. Dh is a great listener, but I vent to him about different things that I would not vent to my friend Barbi or brother about. Everyone needs someone to vent to. What a great question CJ!

Either my sister or DH, depends on the subject. Have to vent to one about the other sometimes, too, lol!

I have a couple G/Fs with whom I vent. DEpending on what it is about, sometimes it is Dh too. We all four work at the same place so it's nice sometimes we have a group vent. lol

I have several GF's I can vent to, but I would have to say that my number one person would have to be my cousin Brenda. We are more like sisters than cousins, and since we are family, we have alot in common. I can vent to Hubby depending on the situation. I know for a fact though that I am his number one vent person.

My mom is mine-- I can (and do) tell her anything. And visa versa now- I'd have to say we're best friends as well as mother/daughter.

I also have a dear friend that I met my first day in college- over 25 years ago. I can tell her anything as well. We've been through MANY life changes together.

I don't generally vent to DH because half the time when I vent, it's ABOUT DH! My friend, Jen, and other friend, Cathy, are my "ventors". We vent abck and forth. Cathy and I have been known to go on for HOURS at a time! LOL
