When was the last time you did something fun for yourself?
Like making mud pies, flying kites, smelling a flower, getting a back rub, etc. etc.
And do you do this on a regular basis?

The last time I did something for myself was today. I took 10 minutes to just lay on my bed after taking my shower. I was wrapped up in a huge oversized towel and the sun was streaming through the window warming my bed. It was so nice just to soak up those warm rays and relax for a few minutes.

YEARS!!!
I dont even know what fun is anymore!
my bf's son is always asking me what I did as a child... I was forced to play alone all the time... probly why i'm such an introvert.
they both LOVE board games... and it makes me feel horrible to admit I've never played a common game they have. I mean, as a kid I played monopoly, clue (maybe once) & scrabble - when I got old enough. I only watched my family play trivial pursuit.
So there are all these games I'd never heard of or played & i'm sure it gets frustrating for them to have to explain how a game they played ALL the time works.
So "fun" - dunno... I guess it's not in my vocabulary anymore.

Well, today, for the first time in a while I did something really fun. I went to a new scrapbooking store and spent a little $$ ($11) just on stuff I wanted, for fun, for me.
Normally my "me" thing is a long, hot bath-- usually I work that in a couple of times a month.

My crafting is for me. I do sell them and give them as gifts. But as I was explaining to a friend just today, it is my threapy that I need.

I like to play in the sand. When we take the kids outside at school we have a huge sandbox that I play in with them. I like the texture of it.
I know it's a sensory thing.
