Can I get a big ol' redneck girl "HECK YEAH!"?
Gripey is doing his dead level best to quit smoking!!!
He's been smoking for 35 years and has quit about 5 times since we've been married, but there's something different about it this time. For one thing he casually mentioned about 4 or 5 days before Valentine's Day that he psyching himself up for it. Another thing he announced on V-Day at 5 p.m. that he had "done it". In the past I have to say that I've been rather stupid about it when he'd try. I'd ask him, do I smell smoke on you? And even get kinda mad when he'd admit that he had smoked. I think I sort of sabotaged him in a way. So this time there's absolutely no pressure. I'm just sooooooo happy about it. Could you folks send up some "good thingies" for Gripey's no smoking effort? I think it would help a lot. I'm just so happy I could squeal! (but I won't.....I promise)
