Our living room ceiling is leaking melted snow...
At 1h30 pm, François comes and tell me there is water falling from the ceiling and on the window sill...
I wake up Pierre....and we see the trouble....
yes, it finally happened like our friend neighbours--the living room ceiling is leaking in a crack...
We *really* didn't need this now....so much is happening at home already with the boys. Anyways...the only thing positive I can see is that another neighbour friend of ours is out of work and he is very good at building houses and repairing houses. So we will hire him to fix it for us, since Pierre is already very tired to do it all by himself...
Anyways...Isn't being a homeowner fun...? lol...especially with all the suprises it can give you.

Aww, no fun. Got any icicles near the windows? I'd knock 'em down & get them out of the way. Sometimes they add to the problem near windows.
Hope it gets fixed asap and with little pocketbook pinching too.
Ps. Miss you.~*Darlene*~

Thanks everyone
...no there are no icicles, Darlene...but there was lots of snow on the lower roof.--the one over the living room. Pierre cut a hole in the ceiling and a bucket full of water came out within the hour. It stopped leaking now.
Michelle, yes we are lucky to have this friend, but we will offer to pay him for doing the job, but still it will be cheaper than hiring someone in the yellow pages.
Well, I'll let you know how it progresses in the next few days....

I'm sorry Lucie. We've had a leak in our roof as well and it's no fun. I hope you can get it taken care of soon.
