Welcome to the Village Joanna! Had me smiling with your comment about your outside cat who comes readily when he thinks tuna's in his future. I too have a cat who comes running everytime the can opener runs hoping the water from the tuna is all his.
Make yourself at home & holler if you need help with anything.

Welcome!!!! I too laughed at the tuna cat comment! I have one that runs to the bathroom every time she hears the cabinet door open. She's got a thing for the q-tips stored in there!

Thanks for the welcome. and now I'll bore you w/more cat stuff. Buddy has a thing for pipecleaners, When he was tiny I made "bugs" from them and he now has he own game of fetch, one of us can throw and when he's ready, he'll run by fast and drop it near(usually)and wait for it to be thrown again. If it isn't dropped near our feet he still waits for it to be thrown. His were always colors and eventually end up it in the dry food bowls. I got white chenille stems for a doll project and in no time started finding them around, bent, but not bent into "bugS" . He was busted when he came in the room when I was there and started looking through the craft boxes pulled one out and left. I cracked up. Since then, I've caught him taking them (or anyof them)to the bowl and shaking before he eats. They've all been better for my sanity(?) than anything. Thanks for listening. I'm going to "sewing" to post a "goodies" link.

Thanks again everyone for the welcome. And Melody , the kitties are fun, and life savers, and sanity savers. We got the first one in 2000 when we both were in serious depression(s). No pills could have made the difference that Buddy did. And never dreamed how different the personalities could be and are.

Joanna, I totally agree, pets are as good for easing Depression as meds.
Thank God for furbabies.

Hi Joanna, welcome to the village! I don't have any kitties (two jack russells would make mince meat of the them) but I love cats. They have such wonderful personalities. Look forward to getting to know you.
