    Question Military families?

    I was just wondering if there are anymore military families out here? We are Army stationed overseas in Germany

    My daughter is soon to be married to a medic in the Natinal Guard. He leaves for Iraq in July. We are a new military family and not sure how to handle it. One day at a time I guess.

    My husband did 15 1/2 months in Iraq. He might be going back this winter I hope not though!

    We are!! DFIL is a 2Star in the Navy & DH is in the ARMY...We're stationed at Fort Bliss right now....DH leaves for destinations that I can't tell right now in the summer for who knows how long....

    We're just a few credits shy from dropping an OCS packet and getting out of the green side of it all....we're hoping to get statined somewhere that has SNOW!!

    I was in 3 years many many moons ago. I was a 97G.

    Hubby has been in 12 years and is a mechanic 63B.
    I love Germany, just not the area we are at. It has to be the armpit of Germany!

    My DH is in the Canadian Army. We actually moved for the first time in 15 years this past summer, when they closed the base he was at, and moved us to a new one 2 hours away.
    I'm always saying a prayer for the soldiers overseas, and their families back home--hugs to all of you!

    Air Force family here for almost 18 years! Thank God hubby is currently home and not deployed. He did a 4 month deployment last summer to the Middle East. It was awful. Those of you who have spouses currently deployed are in my daily prayers. It is so tough and hopefully they will all be coming home soon.
