    Talking I made my appt!!

April 15th is D-day. Ladies, i need support, this is gonna be a hard one. I am having...gulp...14 inches cut off of my hair. I am determined to do this now, but I am also a bit skeered. This is for Locks Of Love. After it is all said and done, my hair will be just below my shoulder blades. Keep me accountable ladies!!

    Missy~

I'm so proud of you! Just think of all those people who will feel so much better about themselves by the sacrifice that you are making. And Missy, your hair will grow back!

It is more of a problem now than anything else, i have not cut it since 1995. it gets trapped under dh in ur sleep, and when i was b/f DD, even when i pulled it back in a scrunchie, it still would up all over the child...she would be trapped in a blanket of hair, lol.

HUGS! I know you are nervous, but you are gonna love the "freedom" from the weight of it. Plus it will be cooler

What a wonderful thing to do! I'm behind you Missy. I know of a little girl who has a wig that was made for her by this organization.

Oh Missy, this is such a selfless thing to do. How can I thank you and others (Kat) for doing this for a child? Coming from someone that has been bald due to chemo, I know how much it means to them to be like everyone else.

That's so neat! This will mean so much to a special someone.
Going to feel great not having to have so much hair to deal with, it's going to put a spring in your step.

I was nervous when I did it but now I love it. I can pull it back if I need to, but for the most part I where it down now, where as before it would get all tangled up if I left it down.

I'm glad I did it before the baby came. It's really been a lot easier having one less thing to worry about.

Just think of the kids and what you are doing for them...that's what I did when I thought about backing out

You're doing a great thing. Some little girl is going to appreciate that hair more than you'll ever know.
