Talking I am home from seeing my hubby

Although it was not long enough, my visit with my hubby was wonderful.  I am so happy that I was able to go and see him.  I just hated to leave him again.  The good news is that in about a week or so, he should be coming home for good.  So, keep your fingers crossed that all goes well, and they out process them and get them home.  Although we did not get to spend the entire 4 days together, we did get to spend the evenings with each other.  Most of their stuff that they did during the day was over by 4, and one day they were even done by noon.  So, I did get to spend some quality time, with him.  He looks the same as he did before he left.  Just a little more tired.  But that is ok, cause once they get back on US time, they will lose that.  So, all in all it was a wonderful trip.  I will let you all know when I finally get to pick him up and take him home for good.

I was going to email you and ask how it went Traci. I'm sooo happy to hear that he is well and you got to spend a fair amount of time with him. I'm sure you spent all your time talking..... Tell him howdy from Texas?

To answer your question mommy2five, he just got back from a year in Iraq. He is with the PA Army National Guard. It has been a long year, and I am glad that it is almost over.

Glad he is home safe! My dad was a career USAF officer and served a year in Vietnam when I was a kid. I was a wreck toward the end of his tour, afraid something bad would happen right before he came home, but everything went well. So I know how stressful this can be.

Traci, I'm so glad your visit with DH went so well and you two were able to spend some quality time together. I aso remember how stressful it is waiting those last few weeks until they are back home again for good. Just hang in there GF, we are praying and pulling for you all.
