MY introduction...
Hi- I'm Kimberly and I think I have found a great new forum! And wow- you guys have even more smilies than my "home" forum!!
How did you hear about frugal village? Clicked on a Google link when searching
What interests you here? Frugality, making things myself, budgeting and debt reduction, simplicity
Do you know any other members here? Nope, not yet!
How many kids? Ages? One Dd, 22 months today
Tell us about yourself. I'm newly 30, have done a large variety of jobs in the past (former soldier, pastry chef, analytical chemist...) but now work in a hospital lab. I am the queen of typos, and am messy.
Do you own any pets? No. No. No. No. Unh uh.
SAHM or Working mom? Little of both- technically speaking, a WOHM, but I only work just enough hours (15) to keep our health insurance, and I work in the evening so D is never in any form of childcare (she is with DH at night .)
Married or single? Married- 8 years in May.
Interests and hobbies? I love reading, love going to the beach and snorkeling when I can, and love my family. I like gardening, DIY projects, making gifts, oh, and a million other things.
Okay, now *I* have a question (which I am sure I could find the answer to if I just poked around a bit: What the heck are brownie points all about? I want lots!!! (Don't you just love that mentality? I don't even know what they ARE!!)

Hi Kimerbly, I'm glad you found us. Welcome. You sound like an interesting character. I'm looking forward to reading your posts.
You get brownie points when you post something that's helpful, when someone likes what you post, or you do or say something that someone wants to reward you for. I just gave you one for your first post.
Dive right in and start posting. You'll also find a huge volume of useful information in the old posts here. Happy reading.

Welcome to the Village! I have a question...How can you be the Queen of typos when I'm the Queen of typos? Could there really be 2 of us? Maybe there are more?!

Nice to have you here, make yourself at home.
