What a weekend....

At the last minute I decided to go home this past weekend. I kept telling Joe I was going to go home on a weekend that he had to work Friday, Saturday and Sunday. I found out that one of my aunts, one of my uncles and my cousin that moved to PA were all coming in. The aunt and uncle were having a yardsale to get all the stuff out of my grandmothers house since she moved and my cousin was on spring break.

Well, I wanted to see my cousin so I went home Friday afternoon. Saturday while getting myself and Paige ready I was looking out the window as my stepfather was leaving. Now this man usually backs down the driveway, but not this time. For some reason he decided to turn around............forgetting my car was off to the side.

His trailer hitch dented my trunk (thankfully it didn't go thru it.)
We have family friend that has fixed mine and my moms bump ups in the past so my step dad took him my car Sunday to look at it and get the paint color and all the info he needed and as soon as he gets the new trunk in and painted I'll be going home again. I asked if they could just bang it out and fill it in and my step father said possibly, but he wanted it done right so he said that if it means getting a new trunk he is going to get me a new trunk. Mom said he was just about sick over it when he told her. I'm just thankful that it didn't damage his brand new truck.

on the up side.....Paige got to meet most of her family, I got $75 for our old piano that was at my grandparents house. I got my grandfathers floor lamp and the house is finally cleared out (except for appliances) and ready to be sold and out of my grandmothers hands.
