    Default BBBRRRRRR! I am freezing!

Okay for those of you who live where is actually gets cold, don't read this or flame me - I live in NC! LOL! I froze all night last night - 12 degress is just way too cold for me even with 2 blankets and flannel pjs on! Especially when it was 70 degress 2 days ago!

Of course, I guess the upside to freezing is that my menopausal hormones must be evening out. Last year I wore shortie pjs all winter no matter how cold it got! Don't you love it - menopausal with a 7 year old and a 3 year old. I went from post partum depression to menopause in a year. I also figure I got to blame forgetfulness on pregnancy and mommy brain, and by the time they are grown I will be senile.

Anyway send warm vibes. I keep telling myself 65 is saving money....65 is saving money....BRRRRRR!

Cold and windy here too. I have the heat turned down to 66 F (19 C) cause I'm having those hot flashes too (I'm supposedly not menopausal) The kids keep complaining they are cold. I just keep telling them to put on sweaters. The upside is that we've had a lot of sun here and it heats up the house really nicely during the day so I am just staying inside as much as possible.

I was in NC this weekend at my moms and it was nice (but very high winds Saturday. Then I get home Sunday still nice outside (60's or so).....Monday daytime, comfortable (60's or so again).

Then MOnday afternoon the rain started, that night it was still in the 50's when JOe got home from work. Then Tuesday we woke to wind and a snow covered ground. The funny thing was it was raining at 6 when I was about to go back to sleep after feeding Paige and at 7:15 the ground was white.

IT's gone now, but the cold has stayed.....although its already warmer now then it felt yesterday.

Currently it is 12º right now with a 3º windchill and we are going sub zero AGAIN tonight!

We have snow in our forecast for the next 5 days and on Friday are supposed to get hit with another nor'easter!

I too have the hot flashes, but for those of you that don't know, mine aren't flashes, they last a minumum of 10 minutes or so now. Come summer they don't stop at all. We have the heat set at 66º and Jack is always freezing. He has on a tshirt, sweatshirt, sweatpants, socks and slippers, I'm in a tank top, shorts and bare footed fanning myself. I told him to get one of the afghans I just made!

It's 39 and raining here, and my heat is on 66 LOL!!!!! I do turn ours down at night to 63,no matter how cold it is. I just hate being hot while I'm sleeping. Our vents are in the ceiling and the heat blows right on my face...can't stand it.

We actually have 2 heating units. The kids rooms are on the other side on the house and there's is mostly kept on 68-70 at night. With Jayme having asthma, the cold makes her wheeze,so although sometimes I'd rather have the heat lower,I have to keep it bumped up for her

Monday was nice and warm - hit around 70. Tuesday it was a high of only 37 and today it never made it that far. With a wind chill I think they were saying 13. Yucky cold and we have little buds on our fruit trees

Hang in there Cheryl - Think warm thoughts!
