i think i found a way to sneak on here often enough to post here & there.

it'll still be a little sporadic - as I wont be able to post as often as I started out...but i think i found a way!

took a little tweaking here & there & getting caught... but oh well.

Can I just ask a question please. Is the problem because you are posting at work or is it a problem at home? I know it's none of my business but since it seems to come up often, I'm just curious. It's okay if you want to tell me to mind my own business. I've always been nosey.....

Glad to see you posting also but I'm also going to be a little nosey and wonder if things are okay. The only logical reason that I can see that you wouldn't be able to post is because you are at work. And I'll be honest - as much as I love it here - "sneaking" around at work may not be the best thing.

Whatever it may be I hope you are okay and not in risk of being hurt in anyway.

I don't get it either. Why are you sneaking? I wouldn't be using my employer's time to surf the net. If you do not have internet access at home, try your public library. All of the branch libraries here have internet access.

i have access at work & home to the internet.

nothing to worry about.

just not permitted to come here - for the same reasons at both venues... security.

Employers have ways to find out what sites their employees have been on(and read emails). A friend (works at a bank) of mine got caught surfing the net on company time and got into a little trouble......a week off WITHOUT PAY...next time...she's fired!

this job all i do is surf... it's part of my job (research).

so long as i dont do it TOO often & make it a habit - it's fine.

anyway...

with regards to internet security... you're preaching to the choir... i know more than enough about what employers can & can't do... I know all the software and frankly I use it myself here at work in order to monitor the others.

Note: *computer nerd* if it's out there - I more than likely know about it - if not use it.
