can't do it alone

I can budget, I can save, I can brighten our financial future, but I am getting friction from my hubby.

He is a spend, borrow, spend type of guy and I just refuse to do it anymore.
He agrees with everything I do in principle but when it comes down to "Planning the work and working the plan" he sulks and gets mad.

We are finally debt free except for our mortgage, we have dug ourselves out of a huge hole, using some pretty drastic measures to get here, (we sold property, worked huge amounts of overtime)
He fills out credit card applications daily (thank goodness I pick up the mail) and comes home with daily reports on what new vehicles are availible at the local dealership.
He does not participate in budgeting or bill paying in the least bit.
I keep reminding him of our goals, he says that I will have to "prove that this is doable" before he will be comfortable with it.

I hate this I hate this I hate this!

I know exactly how you feel, my dh says well we can cut back here and cut back there....but when it comes time for him to actually do the cutback....it doesn't happen....ugh!
