Ok I think I'm seeing things. *updated at end*
Remember that I posted about my Ddad's poodle that was run over about a week ago? She was black....just a little bigger than mine. Well I was in the office on the computer and I heard my poodle barking. I go to the front door and there stands a black poodle the same size as Lady (dad's dog)! As it turns out it's a male, but he's skin and bones, literally....a bag of bones. I called Dad and he's coming to look at him. I think he's going to take him...... . He's been groomed but evidently been scavenging for a couple of weeks or so.
I hope he's a good dog.

Yeah I hope it's a blessing.....like I hope he is housebroken . Dad just came and got him and is taking him home for a bath...he's very dirty and stinky. Fingers crossed that he's an answer to a prayer.

I hope someone else is not heartbroken and missing their dog...
If my dog got out of the yard and ran away, I would hope someone would find her and try to contact me. But then my doggie wears our phone number (and our vet's phone number) on her collar.

Ok, well it didn't turn out as well as we had hoped. Seems he is full grown and not fully housetrained. We had checked around at the local shelters to see if he had been reported lost and no, he hadn't. But Dad bathed and fed him well and a nice family was visiting with Dad and they had a little girl that just loved him. He let them have him. I hope it works out for the little guy

Sounds like it will have a good home. Maybe your Dad will be open to taking in another dog now since he has had this experience.
