    Talking Forestdale and Julia........

Last night while I was up lol, I watched a program on archeology. they had a segment on Dinosaur Cove in Australia. I see it is close to Melbourne and was wondering how close that is to each of you?

I love these types of shows and was even more interested when it was on Australia, now that I *know* someone from there!

    dee, do you ever sleep.

I love those shows too. Here is a map that shows those sites: http://www.alphalink.com.au/~dannj/sites.htm

Julia lives in western Australia just below the Geraldton site and I live in Queensland on the coast over from the Roma site. We are 1000s of kilometres away from each other and Dinosaur Cove.

When I worked in mining, the miners often found fossils and dinosaur bones. It was really interesting to see them and actaully touch the dinosaur bones. They eventually were donated to the museum. Our mines where on the above map in the Hughenden, Maxwellton areas. There is one site there called Riversleigh near there where, in the early 1990s, they found set in rock, the footprints of a dinosaurs stampede!

    It's interesting stuff.

    Too cool Rhonda, thank you!

I saved that site to read in the middle of the night when I'm up. lol Yes I do sleep now, just happens to be when everyone else is up. Sort of like being on night shift.

I actually worked night shift for many years, guess my body just likes the hours better. At least I'm sleeping now.

As Rhonda said Dee, we are a long way from Melbourne, around 2000 miles from where I live.
Love the map Rhonda, very interesting!
