Ancient Order of Hibernians?

Does anyone here belong to the Ancinet Order of Hibernians? My ds asked me about this organization and I don't really have any answers. My dh's late grandfather was a very active member of the group, but no one in the family seems to have any knowlege, either. My mil died last December and was very proud to be Irish. I so wish we had listened to her, when she tried to tell us about her heritage.

Being Irish myself and never hearing of this group got me interested as well.

I followed the link, that was a very interesting and helpful site. Looks like my dh and dsons wouldn't qualify to join, since dh left the Catholic church a long time ago, to join the Protestant church. It does look like a wonderful organization, though.
